Is your Aussie Bank trying to fuck you too?
How I got fucked by 3 female managers from:
ANZ BANK
Us Kiwis don't go around trying to fuck each other over money- so why do the Aussie banks seem to think it is OK?
We all know banks around the world are currently struggling- mostly due to their own greed- with many now running back to the State to beg for bail out funds- after decades of skimming money off citizens around the World.
The treatment I recently received by 3 managers at ANZ Bank, makes me think they are probably on the verge of collapse also and have started resorting to what I see as a sophisticated form of theft to try and rescue themselves.
The 3 ‘managers’ I refer to in my facts are:
Alex Kim- Business Banking Manager Hilary Hunt – Alex Kim’s manager Nazi Gluga – “Head of Direct”.
We are not sure what “Direct” means - Nazi, apparently the most senior of the these three banking musketeers, is not even aware you are supposed to put a return address on a formal letter & seems to struggle with English grammar - let alone knowing how to describe her job role properly.

Do female bank managers like to use the "whip"?
Or are they just pathetic salary slaves forced into carrying out 'dodgy acts' for their greedy white managers?
(Disclaimer: we doubt very much any 40 hour bank wage slave would have an ass like this one- the whip is anyone's guess)
How I got ‘fucked’ by ANZ Bank
I refer to it as a ‘scam’- but the reality is, all of these greedy banks employ teams of lawyers to design terms and conditions that none of us have time to read- or can afford to hire a team of lawyers to advise us on- given they know full well we cannot be expected to analyse 5 pages of terms and conditions, they seem to pretty much allow themselves to take money from your account & make changes whenever they please- even without notifying you when they do. Perhaps this is in case of a global banking collapse when they are all getting desperate for cash and need to run scams to get funds in urgently??
The reality is that we rely on a level of good faith from our bank when we sign up for this and that- basically with fingers crossed that they do not try to steal your money. It seems in this case my faith was misplaced in ANZ and the above 3 banking lakkies.
I had been banking with ANZ for many years- and had pulled them up a number of times about this same ‘scam’. What they do is put an ‘agreed’ limit on your account & for months if not years, you can be assured that any electronic attempt to go over that limit on your account will fail- eg) trying to buy $30 of something on eftpos when you only have $25 in your account. Or trying to transfer $30 online when you only have $25 in your account. Over months and years you become accustomed to these limits and learn to rely on them- any electronic attempt to go over your limit fails- you can rely on that without having to calculate your exact balance at any given moment!
Then one day- as the global financial system collapses and banks profit margins fall and banks can no longer lend money to people even if they try- suddenly one day, not knowing exactly how much money you have in your account- a transaction does goes through and you are somehow strangely and surprisingly ‘over your agreed limit’.
Now when you have ‘an agreed limit’, that you have relied upon for months (if not years), then one day out of the blue, ANZ have obviously flicked a switch on your account to allow it to go over that agreed limit you relied upon- without giving you any notice of this change to your ‘agreed limit’, causing you to accidently go over that limit.
And here is the low life/scam/ scummy/ greedy corporation struggling in a thinning market bit- at the end of the month ANZ Bank charge you an extra fee for this ‘service’. An additional ‘over your agreed limit fee’. Out of the blue- they have scammed you- or fucked you as some might say. I have no doubt that the team of snarky lazwyers they hire have written something into the pages of terms you agreed to allow them to pull this little scam- but given you have relied on all electronic transactions failing if it would put you over your 'agreed limit'- it is sure to catch you out & is hardly in good faith.
Dirty- dirty- low life scummy bastards- in my opinion ( anyone who runs any of sort of scam on me to steal my money- whether it was hidden in terms or not).
Now, it was Alex Kim who rang me one day and introduced herself as my “business banker”- and it was certainly Alex Kim who failed to notify me that changes had been made to my account- but I don’t wish to blame her alone.
I have a friend who works in the head office in Auckland of another member of our Aussie Bank cartel- and she once described the working environment in those places as “toxic”. She said they struggle to find any Kiwis who will stoop so low as to work those environments for the money they offer and compares the mood in those offices as similar to what one might expect in a WW2 Nazi death camp. Everyone in her office is apparently a young female born in another Country and they have one “Hitler” like Kiwi manager with a cheating wife that everyone seems to know about and he spends all day going around the office pushing his penis up against the back of all the girls chairs, putting the fair of death into them. Apparently the idea is that these workers from overseas are highly focused on being able to support family members both in NZ and abroad and so are very unlikely to raise any moral concerns about what the bank and its managers are forcing them to do. That is my friends exact situation, so I guess it makes sense when she says they are all like that. Every time I get a call from my bank it is someone with a thick accent. Perhaps it is true they are hired because Kiwi’s don’t like to scam each other- and/or they are very dependent on being employed at all times and see these big banks as secure employment.
I have no way of knowing if poor Alex, my business banking manager is in the same situation but I doubt she has much choice but to do as she is told- even if she thinks it is scummy low life shit designed to rip people off.
And then it gets much, much worse – I dared to complain to our greedy Aussie masters about the scam
So at some stage during the month I notice ANZ Bank have started letting my account drift over its ‘agreed limit’ with no warning or notification- and then an extra fee appears on my account for ‘exceeding the agreed limit’ or some such.
This same thing had happened to me twice before with ANZ Bank- during the last global finance crunch I presume- I had even written to them on at least one occasion and formally requested they NEVER let my account go over its limit without asking first. On seeing the fee I immediately emailed them from within my online account and told them what I thought of this scam happening again and to immediately reverse their rip off fee. I am the type of person who doesn’t tend to be very polite in such circumstances (when I think people are trying to steal money off me)- but this story is not about the various way people respond to being ripped off- it is about the fact that people ARE being ripped off (given we rely on good faith and not a team of lawyers to analyse 5 pages of legal terms on every overdraft your bank phones up and offers you). If ANZ Bank are running this little revenue gathering scam on 100,000 customers across the Country every year- they stand to make millions each time they do it- and they should expect some people will respond strongly- especially if it has happened to them twice before and they have requested it stops.
I have summarized how ANZ went ahead and really fucked me after I complained about this fee below in bullet form to speed the story up- but basically the acted like low life money lenders from a gang of thugs. .... · ANZ reversed the fee and promised for the third time not to run this particular scam on my account.
· A few days later, I had just banked 3 cheques at the local branch and gone the gas station to refuel a rental car before returning it. Cheques had been clearing on my account immediately after deposit for about the same time as I had my ‘agreed’ overdraft. I had always presumed this was because I had never had a cheque bounce on me and they were usually for quite small amounts. This was only a few days after I had complained about the scam fee – i had just deposited around $300 worth of cheques but at the gas station my card was declining.
· I phoned ANZ Bank customer support and explained something must have gone wrong- they knew nothing. I requested my account manager phone me and had to return the rental car with no gas in it- which I was penalized for- and had to walk home from the New Lynn rental place.
· I phoned the bank again when home and they again denied anything had changed on my account- I told them to look back at all the times (everytime) I had deposited a chaque and it had cleared immediately- or the funds had been drawn on immediately. They all said they could not explain that. I began recording these conversations.
· Eventually Alex Kim phoned me back some days later- a call I also recorded- and told me she also knew nothing about any changes to my account and that cheques take 3 days to clear. I told her to look back at my account which proved her wrong- again, nothing. My own banking manager had thus so far failed to inform me that my ‘agreed overdraft limit’ had changed but also that they had stopped whatever cheque clearance procedure was on my account. She claimed to know nothing about it- but it was clear to me the cheque clearance facility that I did have had now been removed- no doubt as a form of punishment for calling them out on their fee scam. I was being punished for complaining now.
· I made a number of these calls to the bank and my manager – all recorded- all denying anything had changed- until eventually, around 2 weeks later I got a hold of the manager in there- Hilary Hunt (a suitable banking name because it rhymes with .....??) who also denied any changes had been made and even went so far as to falsify the information given to me by one of her staff in a call I had recorded in which they were denying any changes had been made.
· What a bunch of low life bloody clowns! I am sure you agree with that opinion.
· Eventually Hilary Hunt did admit they had withdrawn my cheque clearing facility and tried to justify that action by some how relating it to the fact I had complained about the fee scam I had called them on. She could not explain why no one in customer support, nor my own business banking manger could explain this change to me. It was now becoming apparent that ANZ Bank pretty much think they can do whatever they like with your account- increase limits, add fees, cancel facilities etc – all without not only telling the customer, but all while not even informing any of their customer service staff or indeed even the account managers. Astounding- and much more like one would expect from a South Auckland pawn broker- not a large bank.
· I complained to Hilary Hunt’s manager (or whom she told me was her manager) and got a very poorly written letter (with no return address???!) from a Naz Gluga (another recent NZ’er no doubt trying to feed a family somewhere and scared of losing her job), in which in very poor English, she again reiterated that she had no idea why no one in the bank seemed to know of these changes being made to my account and a vague apology for such. I pointed out to Naz Gluga that her English was poor and her response fell short of any sort of anything acceptable.
· Some days later I was checking online banking and realized there should have been $500 available in the account but no funds were available. Sure enough- for daring to complain about getting ripped off to more ‘senior’ managers, I was now being punished further and my ‘agreed overdraft’ for which I had signed up and ‘agreed’ to was now cancelled and all funds being deposited into my ANZ account were simply disappearing off the overdraft limit
· I almost immediately went into a branch with a letter demanding my account be closed immediately and opened a new account with much more honest and helpful Kiwi Bank. It took ANZ around 3 weeks to act on my letter and close the account- knowing full well some of my clients were still paying the old account in error- for those 3 weeks I again had no money on some days as each of those payments was coming off my overdraft.
· When the account was eventually closed-ANZ quickly sent the outstanding balance to Baycorp debt collectors to insure they fucked my credit rating.
ANZ Bank and its 3 female managers had FUCKED ME!
I then had to contact all my customers with outstanding invoices and tell them ANZ bank had fucked me over an $8 fee scam and I was now with Kiwi Bank. In total, I will be explaining that scam/ situation and scummy treatment by ANZ Bank to over 150 small business clients mostly around Auckland. Most of them have been very understanding & not all surprised to hear ANZ Bank tried to fuck me in this scummy manor. That is over 150 small business around NZ that will be warned about this ANZ Bank scam- plus 12,000 more that visit this website each month.
I want people to be warned about the ANZ ‘over your agreed limit’ fee scam- and to gain an understanding on how these low life scummy bankers (in my opinion of course) operate. In my opinion and based on my experience, ANZ Bank & its fearful employees have no qualms about scamming fees from your account and then trying to cover it up by keeping their “customer support” staff misinformed to further fuck you and then really fucking you hard if you dare complain about it. This is my opinion- and I am quite sure anyone reading the above saga would agree with me.
I got fucked by ANZ Bank!
Alex Kim- ANZ Business Banking Manager Hilary Hunt – ANZ Alex Kim’s manager Naz Gluga – ANZ “Head of Direct” (whatever the fuck that means)
But I am now happily banking with the much fairer and helpful Kiwi Bank- I suggest you do the same before you get FUCKED by ANZ Bank.
