New Zealand Girls defamation - dishonest statements made by Mr Greenslade- law suit pending

Within days of realizing they had lost  $15,000 odd in legal fees trying to restrict where girls choose to use their own photos, New Zealand Girls director (Robyn Greenslade), sent an email to around 14,500 industry related people (as well as posted on his forum website) , suggesting to all of them that the owners/ managers of this website had spent time in jail and tried to sleep with all the girls on their site.

This was 100% false and we assume was based on assumptions made from his own life experiences. The owners of this website are professional website designers who manage around 140 websites in NZ, across a full spectrum of industries. We built this website when we saw the ridiculous fees being charged by NZG on their somewhat dated website. Since launching this website, Mr Greenslade and his team have finally started to divert some of the ridiculous money they command into actually improving their website and have gotten rid of their top advertising fee previously charged. They are now even discounting. They have also made steps to introduce self management tools for accounts, and even made their website colours more like ours! We are proud of our achievements in encouraging Mr Greenslade and his team to try harder and improve their service while lowering rates, but we will of course be suing him for the defamatory comments made about us as people and businessmen.

He was formally notified and given time to retract his statements but chose not to. Legal documents are being drafted now and you will see a full retraction of his dishonest and harmful comments printed on his newsletter and website very soon. In the meantime, you can rest assured that his comments were dishonest and false. What we are attempting to do here is called "competition"- it is legitimate, ethical and healthy all round- we are seeing prices held back and even come down and services, standards and freedoms improve. Using false legal claims, expensive lawyers and dishonest/defamatory statements to try and maintain your ridiculous profit margins is nothing short of greed in our opinion.

We congratulate Mr Greenslade on his apparent success, but now we have taught him a thing or two about website technology and copyright law, it seems next we will be teaching him a lesson or two about honesty and ethics in business as well.

Some of the time we have spent educating Mr Greenslade on how to do business we will be writing off as charity work. The time and effort we put into this website however - well that is paying off for everyone already
